Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the CDS Journey website, application, channels and related digital services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, browsing content, enrolling in a course or batch, purchasing a product or service, or otherwise using CDS Journey offerings, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the Platform.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• “CDS Journey”, “we”, “us” or “our” means the operator of the Platform.
• “User”, “you” or “your” means any person who accesses or uses the Platform.
• “Services” means courses, batches, live or recorded classes, test series, study material, current affairs content, practice resources and related digital offerings made available through the Platform.
• “Content” means text, video, audio, PDFs, images, questions, notes, software, trademarks and other materials available on or through the Platform.
• “Account” means a registered user profile on the Platform.

Eligibility and User Account

You may use the Platform only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.

Certain services may have eligibility requirements based on the applicable examination. Users should refer to the relevant Exam Details page for the current eligibility and minimum-age requirements applicable to that examination.

When you create an Account, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep that information updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your Account has been accessed without authorisation.

Courses, Batches and Digital Services

CDS Journey may offer live batches, recorded classes, test series, study material, current affairs resources, practice content and related educational Services through the Platform.

Descriptions of specific Services, including features, schedule, language, duration and access details, are as published on the relevant product or batch page at the time of purchase or enrollment.

Course or batch access is provided according to the applicable examination and the access terms displayed on the relevant Exam Details page. Unless otherwise specified, access remains available until the applicable examination, subject to the conditions of the purchased course or batch.

We may update, improve, pause or discontinue parts of the Services where reasonably necessary for operational, academic or technical reasons. Material changes affecting a purchased Service will be communicated through the Platform or other reasonable means where practicable.

Registration and Enrollment

Enrollment in a paid or free Service is subject to availability, eligibility criteria published for that Service, and successful completion of any required registration or payment steps.

Access to paid content is generally granted after successful payment confirmation and Account authentication. Delays may occur due to payment gateway processing or technical verification.

Enrollment, course access and purchased services are non-transferable. A user may not transfer, sell, assign or otherwise provide their purchased enrollment or account access to another person.

Pricing and Payments

Prices for Services are displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase and may change from time to time. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at checkout unless otherwise stated.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorise charging of the applicable amount.

Taxes, if applicable, will be shown as part of the checkout process where required.

If a payment fails, is reversed or is flagged as fraudulent, we may suspend access to the related Service until the matter is resolved.

Cancellation and Refunds

These Terms do not create additional refund rights beyond those stated in the Refund / Cancellation Policy, unless required by applicable law.

Intellectual Property Rights

All Content on the Platform, including course materials, recordings, test questions, branding, logos and software, is owned by CDS Journey or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms and any applicable purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Content for your personal educational use only.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, share credentials for, publicly display, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works from Platform Content, except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose;
• share, resell or publicly redistribute paid Content without authorisation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to Accounts, systems or data;
• interfere with the integrity, security or performance of the Platform;
• upload or transmit malware, spam or abusive material;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or
• use automated means to scrape or harvest Content without our prior written consent.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your Account;
• using a compatible device, browser and internet connection;
• reviewing Service descriptions before purchase;
• complying with these Terms and any additional guidelines published for a specific Service; and
• ensuring that your use of the Platform does not violate applicable law.

Educational outcomes depend on individual effort and circumstances. CDS Journey does not guarantee selection, ranks, scores or employment results.

Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate or link to third-party services, including payment gateways, hosting providers, analytics tools, app stores and external websites.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. CDS Journey is not responsible for the content, security or practices of third-party services that we do not control.

Platform Availability

CDS Journey aims to keep the Platform and its services available and functional, but uninterrupted or continuous availability cannot be guaranteed.

Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, network issues, force majeure events or factors outside our reasonable control.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform or a Service if:

• you breach these Terms or applicable policies;
• you provide false or incomplete information;
• payment for a Service fails or is reversed;
• we reasonably believe suspension is necessary to protect users, Content, systems or legal compliance; or
• required by law or a competent authority.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Disclaimer

The Platform and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

While we take reasonable care in preparing educational Content, we do not warrant that Content is complete, current or free from error. Users should independently verify important information, including official exam notifications and eligibility criteria issued by relevant authorities.

CDS Journey is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by UPSC, the Ministry of Defence, or any government organisation.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Subject to that principle, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CDS Journey's liability arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or Services is limited as required by applicable law.

These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy. In case of conflict on privacy-specific matters, the Privacy Policy will guide how personal information is handled.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date shown on this page.

Your continued use of the Platform after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required by applicable law.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India.
